Revolutionizing Blood Typing: AI-Powered Precision in Determining ABO and RhD Blood Groups

AI-Based Blood Typing for the 21st Century

The NanoSpot.ai Blood Typing Test is a self-test for blood typing within the ABO and RhD blood group systems for educational and informational purposes only.  The test allows users to obtain objective results via the NanoSpot.ai mobile application utilizing artificial intelligence that interprets the test results for the user. The ABO system classifies blood into four possible blood types, A, B, AB, and O while the RhD group classifies blood as either positive (RhD positive) or negative (RhD negative).

The test is for educational and informational use only.  The test is not for use for screening purposes prior to transfusion.  The result of this test should never be used to inform any medical treatment.  Consult your practitioner before making any decisions.

How does it work?

The NanoSpot.ai Blood Typing Test leverages the traditional hemagglutination-based (blood clumping) approach paired with an artificial intelligence-driven mobile application to deliver objective blood typing results in under 3 minutes from the time a sample is collected.  The video below demonstrates how a test is completed with the test kit and mobile application.

How Does The NanoSpot.ai Blood Typing Test Differ From Other Blood Typing Tests?

The NanoSpot.ai Blood Typing Test offers a mobile application that walks the user through the process of running the test and provides an automated, AI-based interpretation of results to avoid miss-typing by the user.  The test procedure has been optimized for home-based usage with components that help to ensure the user can run the test accurately.

How accurate is the test?

In blinded bench testing, the NanoSpot.ai Mobile Application showed 100% concordance with gold-standard laboratory-based methods.  Even with the impressive performance of the system, the test should not be used for medical decision making and is for educational and informational purposes only.  Medical practitioners should be consulted before making any decisions based on your blood type.
